Our concept of a camping tour has become very popular since we began operating these tours in 1985. Quite simply, after a day's travel we check into a campground instead of a hotel. Alaska is a beautiful place to camp. Hotels are extremely expensive. It makes perfect sense.

Group size is limited to twelve adults (Children 10 and over may join our family safari). With a group this size we can be flexible in our daily routine.

You'll have time for independent activities, but there will always be a friend or two to join you if you like.

Our tours are designed for the first time camper as well as the experienced outdoors person. We provide the tents and other camping equipment. All you need to bring is a sleeping bag and pad.

All aboard for flightseeing, hiking, and sightseeing!

You'll be driven by our guide in a 15 passenger van. Long drives are rare, as travel days are designed to allow time for sightseeing, hiking or other activities during the day. Many of our tours include some travel by ferry and flights within the itinerary.

The tour cost includes the services of our guide, entrance to parks, camping, use of camping equipment, and all transportation within the itinerary.

Each itinerary features many opportunities for optional activities. Hiking is available on most days, but also available will be scenic flights, cruises, whitewater rafting, kayaking and canoeing.

We select our campgrounds for their natural beauty and proximity to places of interest. All are established campgrounds. Some have primitive facilities; others have modern facilities with showers available. A food "kitty" price is established for each trip and includes most meals. The guide prepares the dinners, and everyone assists with the preparation and clean-up.
